In the forests and foothills of Niseko Village, a legend whispers of a curious tanuki wandering the fairways at dusk. In Japanese folklore, the tanuki is a symbol of luck, playful charm, and turning ordinary moments into unforgettable ones. The Niseko Village Tanuki Golf Invitational celebrates that same spirit of adventure.

Arrival at Niseko Village
Complimentary Niseko Scheduled Airport Bus from New Chitose Airport to Hotel at 1:15pm and 3pm (duration 2.5 hours)
Enjoy a relaxed practice round at Niseko Village Golf Course, where smooth fairways, crisp mountain air, and immaculate greens welcome you, a perfect warm up before your main game and a chance to find your rhythm while taking in the sweeping views of Mount Yotei. It boasts the only Par 6 hole in Hokkaido.
The first day of the tournament unfolds at the Arnold Palmer designed Niseko Golf Course, framed by white birch and pine trees. Enjoy rolling hills, sweeping views of the Niseko mountain range, and a layout that’s both challenging and fun, an ideal stage to make your mark in the opening round. Every player has a chance to out play the field and claim top prizes on the Par 3s.
The final day of the Invitational returns to the stunning Niseko Village Golf Course, where the challenging fairways puts your driving power and accuracy to the test. Go all-out in finding your mark nearest to the line on the fairway—top contenders will take home major bragging rights and prizes. Finish the day with a celebratory BBQ and the grand prize presentation.
